With an MBA and BS in Environmental Science, US Navy veteranPete Wilking founded A1A Solar in 2010 after entering the solar industry in 2006 and recognizing the need for a highly qualified, ethical company to design and install solar power systems for homes and businesses. Having already added home backup batteries and EV chargers to the mix, Pete’s focus on energy efficiency has led to the expansion of services in 2025 to include high-efficiency inverter-based heat pump HVAC systems, electric heat pump hot water systems, and other energy efficiency offerings.
