Tesla Powerwall 3

A1A Solar is a certified Tesla Powerwall 3 installer

A1A Solar is an authorized installer for the Tesla Powerwall 3, the most advanced residential energy storage system in the world. The Powerwall 3 is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that stores energy. It’s great for home energy storage, and it also stores electricity for solar self-consumption, time-of-use load shifting, backup power, and off-the-grid use. A1A Solar is a certified electrical contractor and will complete the entire installation process with no subcontractors.

NABCEP Certification!

We are thrilled to announce that A1A Solar Contracting, Inc. has received NABCEP Company Accreditation® as of December 9, 2022! We are very proud to be one of seven companies nationwide and one of only three companies in Florida to receive the company accreditation.

NABCEP Company Accreditation is the most prestigious accolade that a PV installation company can earn in the renewable energy industry. NABCEP’s Company Accreditation program provides a way for residential renewable energy installation companies to distinguish themselves by adhering to a set of industry-recognized best practices. Companies who qualify for accreditation meet all NABCEP requirements (an established set of benchmark requirements concerning staffing and policies) and pass a minimum of three randomly selected inspections of completed installations. We would like to give a shout-out to Pietro Ignacio, our O&M, QA, and Service Manager, for taking the lead on this effort and his painstaking work to gather all the appropriate documentation required for the accreditation.

For solar customers, buying from a NABCEP Accredited Residential PV Installation Company ensures that your provider is committed to

  • high-quality installation standards.
  • hiring fully trained and qualified staff.
  • safe work practices.
  • accountability to the customer.

A1A Solar is pleased to be among the few who have achieved this accreditation. We strive to uphold these standards every day and are continuously improving our processes to achieve superior customer service and quality installations. We welcome an opportunity to work with you on your solar PV and energy storage needs. Call us today!

A1A Solar Volunteers at ReThreaded

The team at A1A Solar volunteering at ReThreaded to deconstruct Southwest leather airline seats.

A few members of A1A Solar’s team participated in a fantastic volunteer event at ReThreaded in Jacksonville coordinated by CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Jacksonville. ReThreaded educated us on Human Trafficking and the service Rethreaded provides in our community, along with a tour of their wonderful facility. Our contribution was to deconstruct leather seats that were donated by Southwest Airlines so the leather can be repurposed into products made by the women at Rethreaded and sold in their campus store. The women who make the products are all victims of human trafficking and ReThreaded is helping them get their lives back.

We all found it cathartic and gratifying to disassemble the leather seats while we chatted with one another. If you are not familiar with ReThreaded, we encourage you to stop by and learn about this amazing organization that is helping people make a positive change in their lives.

The leather is then repurposed into purses, cases and more.
